The Italy international, who has missed the last two games, is still troubled by a foot injury.
Toni has trained this week and says the injury has shown some improvement.
Coach Cesare Prandelli is expected to make the final decision on whether his star striker will be able to return to action.
Toni said: "I still feel pain in my foot. We will have to see how it goes in the next few days.
"This is not a worrying injury and things are definitely improving."
