Miccoli desperate for Viola win

Fabrizio Miccoli says that Fiorentina are desperate for a win against Reggina on Sunday.

The Viola are having a difficult season so far and are battling to avoid relegation from Serie A.

Fiorentina face Reggina on Sunday with striker Miccoli saying they badly need a win before some tricky away games.

"It will be a complicated match," said Miccoli. "We will have to attack whilst Reggina will surely count on their sudden counter attacks.

"We will give everything but we need a win before the away matches we will have in the next few weeks against Lecce and Milan.

"Our aim is clear, that is to secure our safety as soon as possible."

As for his future, the Italian striker who is currently jointly owned by Fiorentina and Juventus, reaffirmed once again he would like to stay with the Viola.

"Personally I want to stay here as long as possible," added Miccoli.
