FIORENTINA'S eventual relegation from Serie A is set to spark a major clear-out from The Artemio Franchi in the summer.

The cash-strapped club will have to sell a number of top stars if they are to survive in Serie B and that will probably mean they will consider offers for Daniele Adani, Nuno Gomes, Sandro Cois and Predrag Mijatovic.

Defensive star Adani has admitted he will meet with the club to discuss his future and he revealed a desire to play for Parma.

"It is still early for a decision, most certainly I will speak to the club, in both our interests," said Adani. "It would be better to think about my departure from Florence, but everything has still to be decided.

"I am not thinking about a team but about the surroundings. I would like to go to Parma because I am Emilian and consider it to be a pleasant city to live in both as a player and citizen."

Midfield star Cois, who has been at The Viola for eight seasons now, has attracted the interest of a number of clubs including Uefa Cup finalists Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid.

Former Real Madrid striker Mijatovic could return to Spain with Real Betis reported to be interested in him or could move to his native homeland with Red Star Belgrade.

Portuguese hit-man Gomes, who has been linked with a move away from Fiorentina for some time, could end up in Spain with Valencia, or back at his old club Benfica.

On-loan star Roberto Baronio, who has been linked with Chelsea, is expected to return to Lazio, while another loan star Alex Manninger will look for a move to another club in Italy as he has no future at Arsenal.
