Young striker attracting interest

Palermo have rejected a number of offers for Abel Hernandez, according to the highly-rated striker's agent. The 19-year-old Uruguayan has caught the eye since moving to Palermo in the winter of 2009. He has been linked with a move away from the Italian club and reports have previously suggested Arsenal are tracking his progress. Hernandez's representative Vincenzo D'Ippolito claims there has been a lot of interest, but insists Palermo are not prepared to sell as they regard the teenager as such a key part of their future plans. "Palermo have received offers from a few clubs but I know that they have firmly rejected them," he told stadionews. "The president and also the sports director consider Hernandez unsellable. "Certainly he will stay in Palermo, he's only 19 years old and he must grow."
