Simon Kjaer insists it was not an issue that he was not informed by Palermo which clubs had made offers in the January transfer window.
The Denmark international had been linked with several teams last month, with Palermo claiming to have received bids from two Premier League clubs and two sides in Germany.
Manchester rivals City and United, along with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, have all been credited with holding an interest in Kjaer in England.
The highly-rated centre-half has previously pledged his future to Palermo, saying he will stay with the Serie A club next season if they qualify for Europe.
And, despite the calibre of clubs on his trail, Kjaer was not disappointed to have been kept in the dark about the January bids.
"It is not a problem that they haven't informed me," Kjaer told Onside.dk.
"It's all up to them to consider the offers that they receive.
"It's positive and a confirmation that I am doing my job well, and that is flattering."
