Lippi names first Italy squad

New Italy coach Marcello Lippi's has named three new faces in his Italy squad for next week's friendly with Iceland.

Manuele Blasi, Luca Toni and Francesco Flachi have all been given the call by Lippi, but Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero has been left out.

Roma ace Antonio Cassano is also left out as Lippi looks to give other strikers the chance to impress.

Internazionale striker Christian Vieri is out injured as is Roma captain Francesco Totti.
