Antonio Nocerino has set his sights on a return to the Italy squad after making yet another loan move, this time joining Parma until the end of the season.

Although the 29-year-old remains on the books of AC Milan he finished last season on loan at West Ham and began this year at Torino. A season-long deal with the Turin club was cancelled with Nocerino failing to make an impression.

But after stating he was not given a proper chance at the Stadio Olimpico, Nocerino said he believed he could get back in the national team frame if given a run of games.

"I immediately said yes to Parma," he said. "I hope this club can help me get back into the national team."

Nocerino declared himself fit to play with immediate effect despite making only five appearances for Torino.

"I want to be judged on my performances on the pitch," he said. "In Turin I have not had the opportunity because of the coach's decisions."
