AC Milan have snapped up teenage Austrian striker Philipp Prosenik from Chelsea after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Prosenik: Milan move
Prosenik joined Chelsea in the summer of 2009 from Rapid Vienna when he was just 16, in what was seen as a considerable transfer coup for the Blues.
The youngster had been linked with a host of top European clubs prior to completing his move to Stamford Bridge, and after continuing his development in London for a couple of years he has been given the opportunity to embark on a fresh challenge under Massimiliano Allegri at Milan.
A statement from Milan read: "Philipp Prosenik's contract has been deposited with the Lega Serie A."
