Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri believes Marek Hamsik is content to stay with the club after holding discussions with the player.
Hamsik suggested last month that a move to AC Milan may benefit his career, with the Serie A champions heavily linked to the attacking midfielder all summer.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reluctant to sell the Slovakian and Mazzarri is confident the 23-year-old will not force a move.
"I spoke to Hamsik and he knows the way I think. He'll give his all and is very motivated. He's happy to stay with Napoli," Mazzarri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Former Brescia playmaker Hamsik is contracted to Napoli, who will participate in the UEFA Champions League this season, until 2015.
