Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has tipped Sulley Muntari and Stephane Sessegnon to go from strength to strength on Wearside.
Despite making a positive impact since arriving at the Stadium of Light, both players have yet to be on the winning side for the Black Cats.
Bruce's men snapped a four-game losing streak in the league with a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the beginning of March, a result he hopes can lead to a return to winning ways.
With his team able to rest with no game in 15 days, Bruce believes his new arrivals can help Sunderland return to the kind of form that saw them troubling the European places only a matter of weeks ago.
Bruce said: "We can all see they are very, very good players.
"They are disappointed because they have been on the losing team, but they are both fantastic players.
"They are both technically very, very good. You don't play for clubs like Paris St Germain and Inter Milan unless you are a very, very good player and we are delighted to have them here.
"They can only get better. They are enjoying the challenges of the Premier League and the rigours of it and let's hope they keep improving."
