PSV sporting director Marcel Brands is determined to bring Dutch duo Mark van Bommel and Ruud van Nistelrooy back to the club.
Former Bayer Munich star Van Bommel, who spent six seasons in Eindhoven between 1999-2005 before leaving for Barcelona, was on PSV's radar during the January transfer window.
The 33-year-old midfielder ultimately chose a move to AC Milan over his former club last month, but Brands says the Eredivisie outfit are still hopeful of securing his signature.
"I really think that we had a good chance of signing him last winter if Milan hadn't approached him," Brands told NUsport.
"We will continue to monitor his situation though."
Hamburg striker Van Nistelrooy, who enjoyed a highly successful spell with PSV before joining Manchester United in 2001, is also on Brands' wish-list.
"We haven't been in touch with Van Nistelrooy yet, but that will happen in the near future," he added.
"The fans don't have to worry about anything. We will do our utmost to sign Van Bommel and Van Nistelrooy.
"They're both extraordinary players who love PSV."
