Agent keeping options open regarding possible January transfer

Cristian Zapata's agent says the defender is happy at Udinese, but will not rule out a January move for the Colombian. The 23-year-old joined Udinese in 2005, but has repeatedly been linked with a switch away from the Serie A side over the past 18 months. Arsenal have been mooted as long-term admirers of Zapata, while Fiorentina and AC Milan have also held an interest. Zapata's representative Massimo Italiani concedes there has been no recent contact with other clubs, but is keeping an open mind regarding the player's future at Udinese. "I have not had any type of contact in these last few weeks with Fiorentina, Milan or other clubs," Italiani told Tuttomercatoweb. "But anything can happen. "It's normal for someone to have the desire to improve, and Udinese could also do without him seeing the competition they have for places. "Anyway, Zapata is fine in Udine."
