MILAN coach Carlo Ancelotti has an injury concern ahead of his side's Champions League clash with Ajax this week.

Brazilian wide-man Serginho suffered an injury to his left leg on Monday, the same leg he hurt in Milan's weekend game against Empoli and is a doubt for the Rossoneri's quarter final second leg against the Amsterdam club.

Milan's medical chief Jean Pierre Meerssemann affirmed: "We'll try to recover him and have a look at him on Tuesday."

Some positive news for the San Siro giants is the news that Paolo Maldini has returned to training sporting a protective mask to avoid taking a blow on his nose which he had operated on last week.

Also midfield star Fernando Redondo, Khakha Kaladze and Rui Costa have all recovered from their respective injury worries and are all available for selection.
