Lazio have made an approach for River Plate goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo.

However, the Argentine international is being rated at $10million - which is annoying his agent.

"If River refuses the offer that Lazio has ande for Carrizo then the player is not going to be able to be sold," Pablo Sabbag told Radio La Red.

"Nobody is going to offer more money than that for a goalkeeper. I speak ten times per day with people from Lazio. They are interested in Carrizo but River is asking for too much money. Ten million for a goalkeeper is too much.

"It's a very good proposal for River and also for the player because the contract that he has been offered River can't pay it."

Meanwhile, another South American Luis Jimenez - is set to stay at Lazio according to his agent.

Internazionale have been linked with a move for the Chilean, but Rocco Dozzini says he will not be leaving.

"All the rumours about the possible departure of Luis from Lazio to Inter started with an interview done on a Chilean radio when Luis announced that he wasn't going to play anymore for the national team but the truth is that he is in contract at Lazio until June 2008 and he is going to respect that contract," Dozzini told Radio Cooperativa.

"He has been misunderstood because he spoke in that interview about the conditions that he wanted in the future, in 2008 when his loan expires. The supporters of Lazio can be calm because he wants to continue at Lazio.

"I understand that he is comfortable at Lazio and that the club is in satisfaction with him."

One player who does not want to stay with the Biancocelesti is Simone Inzaghi.

The 31-year-old striker is ready to quit the Eternal City outfit after seven years with the club.

"I have been here seven years, I have a particular feeling with supporters and my team-mates. It would be difficult leaving, but I want to play and I can't do this here," he told Mediaset.
