Palermo completed a busy last day of the transfer window, wrapping up several deals within the last few hours of it closing.

The Sicilian side first secured a permanent deal with Genoa for midfielder Giovanni Tedesco, who signed a deal until June 2007.

The move was especially significant for Tedesco, who was born in Palermo and now gets the chance to represent his home-town side.

The Rosanero then completed a deal with Lazio, which will initially see winger Massimo Bonanni move to the Stadio Olimpico on loan for the season, with the Biancocelesti then having the option of a permanent deal in the summer.

During the last few hours of the day, the Serie A side brought an end to their dealings through an agreement with Cagliari for the transfer of Michele Ferri.

The former Milan defender moves to Sardinia in a joint ownership arrangement.
