Lazio have suffered a blow with the news that Roberto Muzzi is set for a two-week spell on the sidelines through injury.
The former Udinese forward was forced off halfway through Lazio's 1-0 victory over Chievo at the weekend after sustaining the knock.
Scans on the 32-year-old have shown slight damage to his left ankle as well as minor ligament damage.
The club's medical staff have recommended that player rests the injury till Thursday, before further examinations are undertaken.
Muzzi has started two Serie A clash this term, along with making two Champions League appearances, but is yet to find the back of the net.
