The Udinese star's representative, Jorge Cyterszpiler, is due to meet with Lazio officials in the next few days to try and find an agreement so the transfer can be completed, but Serie A rivals Juventus could be ready to pounce if terms are not met.
"It isn't true I refused the transfer," a defiant Pizarro told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I just have to find an agreement with Lazio.
"There is a difference between the offer and the request, not so much, but there is a difference.
"Juventus? They are a good team. I would have gone willingly, but Lazio are no less than them."
