BESIKTAS are in confident mood ahead of their Uefa Cup quarter final second leg tie against Lazio.

The Italian side carry a 1-0 advantage into the tie - but much of the pre-match focus has been on Turkey's proximity to war-torn Iraq.

Uefa have insisted that the game is safe - and the Turkish side are set to welcome back Ibrahim Uzulmez for the game, although Brazilian Zago is still suspended.

"We are going all out for victory," said Black Eagles coach Mircea Lucescu.

"Lazio can feel comfortable that they are safe in Istanbul - there is no war being waged in the city.

"Everyone here is talking about the match and I am also just concentrating on getting my side sorted out.

"I made a mistake with my tactics in Rome and we were lucky.

"But we trust that our supporters can make the difference in Istanbul."

Lazio boss Roberto Mancini is waiting on the fitness of Paolo Negro and Nikola Lazetic.
