LAZIO moved joint top of the Serie A table after securing a hard-earned away point at mid-table Brescia following a goalless draw.

Roberto Mancini's men join Milan rivals Internazionale and AC Milan on 33 points, but will be disappointed not to have taken maximum points at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti.

Brescia remain in thirteenth place, but will be pleased to have put further daylight between themselves and the relegation places.

Empoli and Torino played out a dramatic 1-1 draw in a game that sprung to life right at the death.

The meeting threw up few real chances, although Empoli dominated for long periods but could not find a way through the packed Torino rearguard.

The match seemed to be headed for a goalless draw, but in injury-time at the end of the second-half, young Brazilian defender Sanchez Cribari put through his own net to seemingly give Torino a vital victory.

However, Empoli snatched an improbable equaliser with virtually the last kick of the game, when striker Tommaso Rocchi powered home.

The result leaves Torino still second from bottom and in dire relegation trouble, whilst Empoli remain in tenth.

Serie A results:
Brescia 0-0 Lazio
Empoli 1-1 Torino
