Italian giants sought Sneijder's opinion over Dutch youngster

Inter Milan are monitoring PSV Eindhoven youngster Kevin Strootman, according to Nerazzurri ace Wesley Sneijder. Central midfielder Strootman, a summer arrival at PSV from Eredivisie rivals Utrecht, is rated as one of Holland's hottest prospects. Fellow Dutchman Sneijder has revealed Inter sought his opinion on the 21-year-old and he responded with a positive appraisal. "Inter technical director Marco Branca wanted to know how I feel about Kevin," Sneijder told De Telegraaf. "It's not the first time that the club have asked me my opinion. "Quality is always more than welcome here and Kevin has plenty of that." Strootman is an international team-mate of Sneijder having won eight caps for the Netherlands. The young midfielder is under contract in Eindhoven until 2016.
