Blues boss plays down Italy return talk

Carlo Ancelotti has rejected speculation that he is set to leave Chelsea for Roma after being spotted in the Italian capital. Former Roma player Ancelotti has been tipped to take charge at the Stadio Olimpico if he is axed by Blues owner Roman Abramovich in the summer. Speculation intensified about a possible return to his homeland for Ancelotti after the Stamford Bridge boss was spotted in the Eternal City earlier this week. However, Ancelotti insists that he is happy in West London, has no plans to leave England and that he was only visiting Rome for personal reasons. "I was visiting family that's all," Ancelotti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Future

"Do you think on the eve of Chelsea v Manchester United a person could go negotiating with another club? "I have already sais it and I repeat - I feel really good in London. "I don't want to talk about my future until the Premier League is over. "I have never spoken with other clubs. "I want to stay in England and I assure you that next season I won't come back to Italy."
