Roma booked their place in the Coppa Italia final with a 5-3 aggregate win over Milan.

After a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the San Siro, Roma ran out 3-1 winners at home on Wednesday.

The Capital club took the lead inside eight minutes through Armantino Mancini but Alberto Gilardino levelled the tie up ten minutes later.

Simone Perrotta fired Roma back in front after 23 minutes and David Pizarro got a third just after the break.

Francesco Totti missed a 63rd minute penalty but it did not matter as the home side claimed an impressive victory.

Roma will play the winners of the second semi-final between Sampdoria and Internazionale, with a third successive final against the Nerazzurri looking likely with Inter 3-0 up.
