Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi believes his side can be the surprise package of Italian football this season.The Giallorossi began their Serie A campaign with a 2-0 win over Livorno and followed it up with a comfortable victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League.
With many of the big sides in Serie A beginning the season with points deductions, De Rossi is confident Roma will be challenging for the title this term.
"We can be as good as every other side," De Rossi said. "We are aware of our strengths in comparison to last year.
"We are already preparing for the match with Siena. We want to be the surprise of the 2006/07 season."
