Roma have moved to reject transfer rumours regarding three of their top stars.
Daniele De Rossi, Cristian Chivu and Alessandro Mancini have all been linked with moves away from the Stadio Olimpico in the last few weeks.
Reports emanating from Spain suggested Real Madrid were lining up a move for the Roma trio and had held talks with the Giallorossi.
Roma insist they have had no talks with Real and that the trio would be staying in the Italian capital.
"Following the news referred to the sale of a few players to Real Madrid and in particular with reference to the news of a meeting between the two clubs' sporting directors, Roma announce that there haven't been meetings," read a Roma statement.
"We underline, also, as already we did in the past many times, that these players are to be considered absolutely untransferable."
