Chievo midfielder Franco Semioli admits he would be keen to move to Roma should the Giallorossi move for him in the summer.
Luciano Spalletti's side will be hoping to prepare for UEFA Champions League football next term and reports have linked them with the 25-year-old.
Although Semioli insists he has had no contact with the capital club, the former Internazionale player says he would jump at the chance to move to Stadio Olimpico as he believes Spalletti's style would suit his own way of playing.
"There haven't been contacts but surely I wouldn't be able to say no," Semioli told Radio Radio.
"Roma's hypothesis would be perfect because that team's scheme would underline my qualities."
Semioli is also hoping to earn a surprise call up to Italy's World Cup squad, but Azzurri coach Marcelo Lippi only has a squad get-together on May 2 to go before he names his final party for the trip to Germany.
"I hope to be called by Lippi in the stage there will be at the beginning of May, we will see," Semioli added.
"Should Lippi call me, I'd be really happy."
