Roma and Udinese are reportedly showing an interest in Sampdoria striker Francesco Flachi.
Flachi's current deal expires in the summer and although talks have begun regarding an extension, nothing has been agreed.
Both Roma and Udinese have eyed the striker as a possible summer transfer target after an excellent campaign that has seen Flachi score nine goals so far this season.
The 30-year-old has been with the Blucerchiati for the last seven seasons and is keen to reach an agreement to remain at the club.
It is thought that talks between Sampdoria and Flachi will be completed at some point although it may not be until the end of the season when Sampdoria's future has been cleared up.
