Bettega angry with Totti

Juventus vice-president Roberto Bettega was upset with Francesco Totti's comments.

Juventus vice-president Roberto Bettega was upset with Francesco Totti's comments towards Juve coach Fabio Capello and general manager Luciano Moggi.

Totti's words come on the eve of the clash between Roma and Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night.

"I think the reason for Totti's words was because of the match on Saturday," Bettega told skysports.com.

"It might also be, that these are Totti's thoughts, but I think he should have kept them to himself.

"We all want calm at the stadium and safe security, maybe it would have been better if he had spoken after the match."

Bettega also believes that the game in Rome will be a difficult one for the Bianconeri.

"It's a difficult match as it always has been in Rome at the Stadio Olimpico.

"I think that Juve and Roma both have similar aims and that we would both like to win. I think and I hope that it will be a good sporting night.

"I don't know if Cassano will play, I'm not Roma president or coach. I only know that they will play with 11 men.

"I'm not sure if Del Piero will play. That is a question the coaches will deal with maybe an hour before the match or in the pre-match press conference."

Bettega also commented on the Ballon d'Or nominees.

"For the moment the candidates are 50. I can only say, as I've already said, that I think they forgot a few important names. We have nine nominations which I am very happy about. However, they forgot two players like Del Piero and Zambrotta which was a real pity."
