Juventus chiefs have dismissed claims they intend to sign Antonio Cassano.
Juventus have denied they are interested in signing Roma star Antonio Cassano and shrugged off speculation linking Alessandro Del Piero and Gianluca Zambrotta with moves away from Stadio Delle Alpi.
Reports had suggested that Cassano was a potential replacement for Premiership-bound Del Piero, while Zambrotta has attracted attention from Chelsea and Real Madrid.
But Juventus chief officer Antonio Giraudo dismissed the claims and emphasised the wealth of striking talent already at the club.
"Del Piero and and Zambrotta are two big champions and they will stay at Juve," said Giraudo.
"As for Cassano, we have reaffirmed many times he is an interesting player who is able to make the difference.
"But we have five international forwards and I think it is a line absolutely covered. Cassano, for the moment, isn't in Juve's plans."
General director Luciano Moggi echoed the sentiment, adding: "Cassano is a big player but we have really good players in attack and we will not change there. There will be a few changes: for the moment we have signed Giuliano Giannichedda and Robert Kovac."
