Siena have stated they have no intention of selling Rodrigo Taddei, but would be interested in a loan or partial sale to Serie A giants Roma.

The Giallorossi are currently in talks for the Brazilian star, however negotiations between the two parties are yet to yield dividends.

Taddei has conceded he is flattered by Roma's interest, but acknowledged he may find it difficult to command a regular first-team place with the side.

The Samba star is still unsure where he will be playing his football this coming season after returning to Siena on Friday after a medical with Roma.

"I'm tranquil and serene. Now I'm here, although I don't know where I will play next season," said Taddei.

"It's not only up to me, but from the agreements between the clubs.

"Roma interest me a lot, also because they have been the only side who have consistently wanted me.

"Their interest flattered me and if I'd have to go there I'll struggle to achieve a regular place."
