Pelizzoli in high spirits

ROMA goalkeeper Ivan Pelizzoli is adamant that this weekend's clash with title favourites Juventus arrives at the perfect time for his club.

Both sides have made 100 percent starts to the season, but the Giallorossi custodian believes Roma are good enough to return from the clash at the Stadio Delle Alpi with all three points.

"The match with Juve arrives at the right moment," declared the 22-year-old.

"After two matches we are at the top of the standing and physically ready, so we can face them with tranquillity.

"In Turin, we can play to win, attacking, as we did with Brescia.

"Also because I think this Roma with the effort and sacrifice of everyone could be able to compete with all teams."

Pelizzoli also identified Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved as the Juve stars he was most preoccupied by, confessing the huge esteem in which he held opposite number Gianluigi Buffon.

"The Juve players I fear most are Del Piero and Nedved without forgetting Buffon, who represents the most important man, and in my opinion he's the best in the world in our role.

"What is the difference between Roma and Juve?

"The only thing is that Juve play in the Champions League and Roma play in the Uefa Cup."
