ROMA defender Aldair has revealed he is thinking over a move to Serie A rivals Brescia.

The 37-year-old is set to leave The Giallorossi after ten seasons at the club.

The Brazilian star admitted that the time was right to leave Roma and take up a new challenge at a new club.

"I have lived wonderful seasons at Roma," said Aldair. "But it's time I look for another club".

Aldair has been linked with a move to England with Sunderland, Aston Villa and Fulham, but it seems he could end up staying in Italy.

The former Brescia ace is unsure whether or not to accept Brescia's offer as he wants to play in a successful team rather than one fighting relegation.

"I don't want to fight in relegation zone, I hope Brescia would confirm Roberto Baggio and Pep Guardiola" - said Aldair.

Brescia may pull out of the deal as chairman Luigi Corioni feels that the club may be able to afford Aldair's personal demands and he may look elsewhere for a new defender.

Meanwhile, Brescia have been linked with a move for Slovenian international defender Aleksander Knavs.

The 26-year-old currently plays for Kaiserslautern and is with Slovenia at the World Cup.
