ROMA MAY MISS KEY DUO

SERIE A champions Roma are likely to be without Francesco Totti and Vincenza Montella for Saturday's visit of Udinese to the Stadio Olimpico.

The pair have failed to shake off the injuries that forced them out of the Italian national squad for Wednesday's 1-0 win over Morocco.

19-year-old Antonio Cassano, a £20 million summer capture from Bari, is in line to make his first Serie A appearance for the Giallorossi as a replacement for Totti.  Marco Delvecchio stands by to replace Montella.

Meanwhile Brazilian defender Antonio Zago has called on his team-mates to show the spirit that was missing from their dismal opening day draw at Verona and demanded they concentrate on the task at hand.

"We have to play with more spirit than we showed against Verona," said Zago. "We must improve our game and win this match before we can think about the Champions League and Tuesday's tie with Real Madrid."
