Former Lyon striker Fred says he would relish a return to European football and would like to play in Italy.
The Brazil international had a four-year spell at Lyon, scoring 34 goals, before joining current club Fluminense in 2009.
Fred was joint top scorer at last year's Confederations Cup with five goals and he is expected to be one of Brazil's main strikers for this summer's World Cup.
His exploits at the Confederations Cup reportedly attracted interest from Inter Milan and the 30-year-old, who is under contract until 2015, would be tempted by a move to Serie A.
He told the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport: "I don't know what my future will be like, I am happy at Fluminense and had been thinking my future would be here in Brazil. But now I welcome the opportunity of returning to Europe.
"After the Confederations Cup, Inter talked with my brother, who is also my agent. Lazio, Napoli and Roma have also talked with Fluminense in the past, but no concrete offers were ever made.
"Inter are a great club, I follow the Italian Serie A closely and I would like to play there. I watch Napoli's games and Juventus too, they are very strong. There are lots of chances for strikers in the Italian League."
