Inter Milan are understood to be leading the race for Udinese stopper Medhi Benatia.
The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United earlier this year, but now it appears he could be set for a move within Serie A.
The Moroccan international is contracted to Udinese until 2017, but Inter appear ready to make a move.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the player himself admitted he was flattered by the reported interest.
"I am an Udinese player and I have a contract with them I intend to honour unless there is something the club want me to do for them," he said,
"However I am flattered by the teams I am linked with."
