Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has hinted at making a move to Inter Milan after his involvement at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The 24-year-old Brazil international was targeted by Serie A giants Inter during the summer transfer window, but opted to remain in his homeland.
Paulinho is, however, of the opinion that now could be the right time for him to make a move to Europe.
He admits Inter would be his preferred option, but a number of other clubs are expected to join the chase after learning of his availability.
"Over the summer, Inter were the only club that came to Sao Paulo and put a concrete offer to me," Paulinho told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"But I wasn't ready to leave my home and go to Europe, so I chose to stay. I also felt I owed a debt to Corinthians, as we had just won the Copa Libertadores. I hope Inter understood.
"Inter are Inter, though, and they have been a starting point for many Brazilians. One day I will go.
"After the Club World Cup I will decide on my future and if Inter come calling again, we'll talk."
