Luis Figo's future finally looks to have been resolved after agreeing a one-year deal to move to Saudi Arabia.
Figo's contract with Internazionale expires at the end of the season and the Nerazzuri had been working hard to persuade the veteran to continue his stay at The Giuseppe Meazza.
Al-Ittihad announced late in December that they had sealed his signature, which was denied.
But now it appears they have agreed a deal which will see him move to Saudi in July when his Inter contract expires.
"We have agreed a one-year contract which will become active from July 1, 2007," said Al-Ittihad owner.
"I can't reveal how much his contract is worth, but it is one of the biggest ever seen in the Middle East.
"Figo has vast experience and will be of great importance to our team."
