Fiorentina's expert marksman Luca Toni has demanded talks with his club amid rumours of the striker's growing discontent.

Toni, who was Serie A's top goalscorer this past season, has been linked with a move away from the Viola in recent days, despite the club's protestations to the contrary.

However Toni has revealed his desire to hold talks with leading officials and the player admits he is concerned about his future at the club.

The Italian World Cup hopeful is contracted to the Florence outfit until 2009 and believes it should not be difficult to come to a resolution on his future provided all parties are willing to cooperate.

"I'd like to talk as soon as possible with the club president and I hope he will have the same will to talk to me," said Toni.

"There are a few problems at the moment. The president and I have different views but I promise to supporters that they will be the first to know what is happening.

"I have nothing to hide. Both sides have to want to talk - if that happens then it will only take a few seconds to resolve."

Internazionale are thought to be monitoring Toni's situation with interest.
