Milan have signed Giuseppe Favalli from city rivals Internazionale.
The 33-year-old is out of contract this summer and had been widely tipped to leave on a free transfer following a frustrating season.
He now joins the select few, including Christian Vieri, who have made the move from Inter to Milan.
The Rossoneri are keen to reinforce their defence ahead of next season, and have offered Favalli an initial two-year contract.
Favalli, who spent 12 seasons at Lazio before moving to Inter, will add more experience to the Milan back line.
