Chievo midfielder Franco Semioli is attracting interest from a number of Serie A clubs.
Internazionale, Roma, Palermo and Fiorentina are all keen on the Italian after a superb season with the Flying Donkeys.
Semioli's excellent campaign also saw him called up to Marcello Lippi's pre-World Cup training camp at the beginning of May which the 26-year-old is hoping will help him win a place in the Azzurri's squad for Germany.
Inter appear in pole position to sign the player that they used to co-own before allowing him to join Chievo outright.
"Semioli was used in the deal to bring Luciano to Nerazzurri two years ago," said Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori.
"Last summer we signed him permanently, but the agreement was made in 2004.
"Now Inter have come back in for him.
"It won't be difficult to find an agreement between the two clubs because they can give us good replacements.
"But Semioli has also been interesting Fiorentina, Palermo and Roma as well."
