Internazionale president Giacinto Facchetti has hit back at Lazio counterpart Claudio Lotito's claim that his club have made a U-turn over Aparecido Cesar.

Lotito had earlier charged the Nerazzurri with backtracking over negotiations for the Brazilian player, who will be a free agent in the summer having failed to extend his contract at the Stadio Olimpico.

However, Facchetti replied angrily claiming that his opposite number at Lazio had been unfair in the transfer negotiations.

"Lotito thought we would have accepted all his requests. Initially he asked us for Marco Andreolli, then Victor Obinna and then Alberto Quadri. He also tried to insert Simone Inzaghi into the negotiations for Cesar," Facchetti told Controcampo.

"But should we sign Cesar in certain conditions it will be good, otherwise we will wait until July."
