Palermo have snapped up Atalanta's Stephen Makinwa.
The Rosaneri beat off competition from Internazionale and German side Stuttgart to snap up the Nigerian striker.
The player is expected to put pen to paper on a five year deal worth around ‚é¼800,000 annually.
Palermo have paid around ‚é¼7.5 million (£5 million) to Atalanta to ensure they got their man.
It is expected that Makinwa will be the replacement for Luca Toni - who is expected to leave the club imminently.
The Italy international's mooted move to Fiorentina looks in trouble with the Viola's bid falling some way short of Palermo's valuation but Inter have also been linked.
