Siena have completed the loan signing of defender Giovanni Pasquale from Inter.
Siena have completed the loan signing of defender Giovanni Pasquale from Internazionale.Pasquale, who was surprisingly linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers at the start of the transfer window, has joined Siena for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old had made just four appearances in Serie A for Inter this term and has been shipped out to build up his experience.
The stopper is happy to link up with Siena and he hopes his spell away from Giuseppe Meazza will boost his prospects upon his return to Inter.
"I'm really happy with this decision that has been taken, both from me and from Inter," Pasquale told Inter Channel.
"It's a choice that will be an advantage for everyone. I'll play consistently and so I will improve.
"Inter continue to believe in me and, in this way, they have the chance to see how I can grow at an important club like Siena."
