Baumann: No complacency

Werder Bremen's Frank Baumann is wary of Internazionale.

Werder Bremen's Frank Baumann has warned his team-mates not to rely on Internazionale fielding a weak team in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.

Inter are already guaranteed a place in the knock-out stages, but Baumann says Werder must beware.

"What's the point in claiming that they will field a B-team?" asked Baumann.

"In their squad they have about 20 internationals from all kinds of countries, so it's better you don't talk about a reserve team.

"The situation is certainly difficult and we have to be alert."

Werder coach Thomas Schaaf is expected to make sweeping changes after a defeat to Arminia Bielefeld at the weekend.

Danish international midfielder Daniel Jensen could be rested and his job is likely to go to Baumann, whose position in defence could be taken by Finnish international Petri Pasanen.

Schaaf will also check the fitness of Miroslav Klose before deciding whether the German international or Paraguayan Nelson Valdez will partner Ivan Klasnic up front.
