Internazionale are rumoured to be keen to secure the return of keeper Sebastian Frey
Speculation is rife in the Italian press that Internazionale are keen to secure a San Siro return for Parma's goalkeeper Sebastian Frey.
The rumour is that the 24-year-old Frenchman would return next season to replace Francesco Toldo, who has received criticism for the number of goals Inter have conceded so far this season.
The Nerazzurri currently lie in ninth place in Serie A, and have so far conceded 10 goals.
Frey left Inter to move to Parma in July 2001 - exactly the same time Toldo joined the Milan giants from Fiorentina. Critics have said that the club's officials made a mistake in letting Frey leave in the first place.
Although such speculation cannot help his frame of mind, Toldo has said he intends to honour the two years remaining on his Inter contract.
If the rumour is true, it would also indicate that Inter are not ready to promote Toldo's current understudy, Uruguayan Fabian Carini, to the number one shirt.
