Empoli coach Attilio Perotti has told skysports.com that he is ready to allow his impressive strike duo Tommaso Rocchi and Antonio Di Natale to join bigger clubs.

Both players have been in scintillating form for the Serie A strugglers this term and now Perotti has admitted that they should seek moves if they are to further their respective careers.

Recent weeks have seen Rocchi steal the Italian headlines after scoring the winner against Internazionale last week and registering a majestic hat-trick against Juventus this weekend.

Perotti believes that this recent upturn in Empoli's form could save the club from the threat of relegation and allow one, if not both, of his star players to move to bigger clubs.

''We were in a very dangerous position before these two matches,'' Perotti told skysports.com. ''But, after grabbing four points against these Serie A giants, I am sure we will be boosted to end fifth from bottom and survive in the top flight.

''Rocchi and Di Natale were very important in these two matches and I think they're both ready to try their luck with a bigger club.

''Especially for Di Natale, who has already been capped by Giovanni Trapattoni, I see it as a necessary step for his career.''

Rocchi was a product of the Juventus academy and he has spoken of his delight at returning to haunt his old club.

''When you face great sides like Juventus you get a special kick,'' Rocchi revealed.

''These teams can punish you on your very first mistake, so you are forced to concentrate from the first minute to the last.

''I didn't take time to think about my third goal, I just saw the ball coming into the box and my only thought was to hit it.

''I was faster than the defender and luckily the ball went in the net.''
