Internazionale coach Alberto Zaccheroni has injury problems ahead of the club's vital UEFA Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev.

The Nerazzuri picked up a 2-1 league win against Perugia on Sunday but saw three players limp out of the match early.

Ivan Cordoba suffered a knee problem during the Serie A clash while Cristiano Zanetti pulled up with a muscle problem and Emre also had to be substituted.

Both Cordoba and Zanetti were immediately sent for scans to discover the extent of their injuries, and Italian international Zanetti looks set to be sidelined for some time - and will definitely miss the Kiev clash.

"He (Zanetti) sustained a bad muscular strain to the left thigh that seems quite grave," said Inter club doctor Franco Combi.

The news on Cordoba was better however, and the Colombian - along with Emre - could be fit for the midweek trip to Ukraine in which Zaccheroni's men need a positive result to qualify for the knock-out stages.

"We grabbed an important win but we had problems in the midfield in the second half," stated Inter boss Zaccheroni.

"I was forced to replace both Emre and Zanetti due to injury and Perugia's performance also caused us difficulties."

Perugia boss Serse Cosmi was disappointed to lose the game but was delighted with his side's effort.

"I must say that in the second half, my team played a really good game," said Cosmi.

"After such a performance, I'm eagerly looking forward to our next match with optimism."
