Disgruntled Turkish international Umit Davala has told his advisers to travel to Italy and put a premature end to his contract with Seria A giants Internazionale.
Davala, who has endured a torrid time at Giuseppe Meazza, is currently on loan at in-form Bundesliga side Werder Bremen. The defender is keen to extend his stay in Germany and is hopeful of signing a permanent contract which will tie him to the club until 2007.
Despite the potential stumbling block of having to settle his bill in Italy first, Davala remains optimistic about the move: ''There's a 90 percent chance that my agent will succeed and then I hope to build on the advanced talks with Bremen.''
30-year-old Davala is currently with the Turkish squad in preparation for the Euro 2004 play-off tie against Latvia.
