Emre not worried by strain

EMRE is not unduly worried after limping out of Turkey's tight 3-2 victory against Macedonia.

The Internazionale star pulled up clutching his thigh, but dispelled fears that he had pulled his hamstring - an injury that could have excluded him from Turkey's Confederations Cup tournament.

"I felt a little pull in the muscle in my left thigh," said Emre.

"I don't think it is a major problem and I think it should be sorted out pretty quickly.

Inter club doctor Frank Combi would prefer to take no chances, and has already contacted the Turkish FA with a view to looking at the injury himself.
