INTERNAZIONALE defender Marco Materazzi has urged his team-mates to seize the moment in their Champions League semi-final and says they must look to score in their first leg.

Inter take on neighbours Milan in Wednesday's clash and the former Everton stopper says his side will give it their best to give coach Hector Cuper his third chance at winning Europe's most coveted trophy.

"We'll enter the pitch and give our best for ourselves and for our team-mates that couldn't play," said the Italian international.

"We are in the Champions League semi-final like Milan and we're second in the championship with two points more than them.

"They are a strong team who have won a lot and have some big players, but we'll show on the pitch our hunger to win.

"It is important to score at least once in the first leg. If I had to bet on one of my team-mates to score, I'd bet on Alvaro Recoba.

"Because in these matches the talent of big players like him can really make the difference.

"I'd say he could take the team by the hand and take us through the semi-final. But Hernan Crespo could be dangerous too."
