ROMA president Franco Sensi has declared he will bring Ajax star Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Serie A club as he bids to turn around their floundering fortunes.

The Roman giants are currently ninth in the league standings, and have lost all three of their second phase Champions League games.

However, Sensi has come forward to claim he will invest heavily to reverse the slump.

"In March I'll buy Ibrahimovic or Adriano and Legrottaglie," he stated.

"In March we'll establish the programme for next season.

"We need a defender and in the list there is Legrottaglie.

"We'll try to buy him, we have already spoken with Chievo."

The investments are intended to demonstrate the president's commitment to under-fire manager Fabio Capello.

The former Real Madrid boss has come under increased pressure in recent weeks, and talk of his possible departure from the Stadio Olimpico has been widespread.

Sensi insists though that such speculation is wide of the mark.

"Capello stays, he has my complete faith.

"The faith I have in Capello isn't under discussion, he our coach also for the next two years.

"There is a contract signed, nothing has changed."
